The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

पुप्लुवे जीवलेखा तु रूपिण्यौ ते न पश्यति ।
तामेवानुसरन्त्यौ ते समुल्लङ्घ्य नभस्तलम् ॥ १६ ॥

pupluve jīvalekhā tu rūpiṇyau te na paśyati |
tāmevānusarantyau te samullaṅghya nabhastalam || 16 ||

The living soul of the king thus sailing through the sky, did not observe the forms of the two ladies that followed it, though they saw it all along its course.
