The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीदेव्युवाच ।
परमार्थघनं शैलाः परमार्थघनं द्रुमाः ।
परमार्थघनं पृथ्वी परमार्थघनं नभः ॥ ४५ ॥

śrīdevyuvāca |
paramārthaghanaṃ śailāḥ paramārthaghanaṃ drumāḥ |
paramārthaghanaṃ pṛthvī paramārthaghanaṃ nabhaḥ || 45 ||

The goddess replied:—It is the gross view of the abstract, that causes us to assume the discrete spirit, in the concrete forms of the earth and sky and rocks and trees.
