The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ततः कालेन संबुद्धो वासनाजठरोदितम् ।
अनुभूय चिरं कालं नारकं दुःखमक्षयम् ॥ १४ ॥

tataḥ kālena saṃbuddho vāsanājaṭharoditam |
anubhūya ciraṃ kālaṃ nārakaṃ duḥkhamakṣayam || 14 ||

Rising after this time, they are doomed to suffer the endless torments of hell; which the hardness of their earthly mindedness has brought upon them.
