कश्चिन्महापातकवान्वत्सरं स्मृतिमूर्च्छनम् ।
विमूढोऽनुभवत्यन्तः पाषाणहृदयोपमः ॥ १३ ॥

kaścinmahāpātakavānvatsaraṃ smṛtimūrcchanam |
vimūḍho'nubhavatyantaḥ pāṣāṇahṛdayopamaḥ || 13 ||

Some of the most sinful souls, lose the remembrance of their past states for the period of a whole year; and remain quite insensible within themselves, like blocks of wood or stone.
