The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अशास्त्रसंस्कृतमतिरसज्जनपरायणः ।
मृतावनुभवत्यन्तर्दाहमग्नाविव च्युतः ॥ ३९ ॥

aśāstrasaṃskṛtamatirasajjanaparāyaṇaḥ |
mṛtāvanubhavatyantardāhamagnāviva cyutaḥ || 39 ||

The mind that is not guided by the precepts of the Sastras, nor purified by holiness; but is addicted to the society of the wicked, is subjected to the burning sensation of fire within itself at the moment of death.
