The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यद्यथा स्फुरितं चित्तं तत्तथा ह्यात्मचिद्भवेत् ।
स्वयमेवानियमतस्तत्तत्स्यान्नेह किंचन ॥ १४ ॥

yadyathā sphuritaṃ cittaṃ tattathā hyātmacidbhavet |
svayamevāniyamatastattatsyānneha kiṃcana || 14 ||

The minds of all turn in the same way as it was willed by the divine mind, and there is nothing which of itself can go beyond the law which the divine will has assigned to it.
