The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

कुमारीं तत्र सा प्राप ज्ञप्त्यैव प्रहितां हिताम् ।
स्वसंकल्पमहादर्शात्पुरतो निर्गतामिव ॥ ३ ॥

kumārīṃ tatra sā prāpa jñaptyaiva prahitāṃ hitām |
svasaṃkalpamahādarśātpurato nirgatāmiva || 3 ||

She met before her a damsel sent by the goddess of wisdom, and as issuing out of the best model of her heart's desire.
