The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.50.35

सौवर्णं मैरवं शृङ्गं पुष्करावर्तको यथा ।
पश्य देवि रथोऽस्यासौ मुद्गरेण विचूर्णितः ॥ ३५ ॥

sauvarṇaṃ mairavaṃ śṛṅgaṃ puṣkarāvartako yathā |
paśya devi ratho'syāsau mudgareṇa vicūrṇitaḥ || 35 ||

Lo there! our lord Viduratha breaking down the golden mountings of his car with the blows of his mallet, as the thundering clouds—Pushkara and Avarta break down the gold peaks of Sumeru.
