The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अथोदभूद्बलं भीमं ससुरासुरभीतिदम् ।
गर्जद्रक्षोमहानादवाद्यनृत्यत्कबन्धकम् ॥ ३९ ॥

athodabhūdbalaṃ bhīmaṃ sasurāsurabhītidam |
garjadrakṣomahānādavādyanṛtyatkabandhakam || 39 ||

The ferocious body of the roaring Rakshasas, terrified both the gods and demigods (surasuras), by their loud martial music and war dance of their headless trunks.
