The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

त्यक्तायुधतनुत्राणास्त्रस्तप्राणाः स्खलद्गमाः ।
नेत्रैरङ्गेर्मुखैः पादैर्विकारभरकारिणः ॥ १९ ॥

tyaktāyudhatanutrāṇāstrastaprāṇāḥ skhaladgamāḥ |
netrairaṅgermukhaiḥ pādairvikārabharakāriṇaḥ || 19 ||

Frightened to death they stood motionless, and dropped down their arms and armours, and stood petrified as if they were demon-struck, with staring eyes, open mouths, and unmoving hands and feet.
