The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

पक्षिवद्भ्रान्तवृक्षौघाः पतनोत्पातनोद्भटाः ।
विकुट्टिताट्टालखण्डाश्चाभ्रभित्तिविभेदिनः ॥ २ ॥

pakṣivadbhrāntavṛkṣaughāḥ patanotpātanodbhaṭāḥ |
vikuṭṭitāṭṭālakhaṇḍāścābhrabhittivibhedinaḥ || 2 ||

Then rose the gale whirling the trees like birds flying in the air, dashing and smashing the soldiers on the ground, and hurling and breaking the edifices to dust.
