The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.48.65

रसातलगुहाभोगा इव व्योमदिदृक्षवः ।
महाघुरघुरारावरंहोबृंहितमूर्तयः ॥ ६५ ॥

rasātalaguhābhogā iva vyomadidṛkṣavaḥ |
mahāghuraghurārāvaraṃhobṛṃhitamūrtayaḥ || 65 ||

They gave the sky the appearance of subterraneous caves, emitting a gurgling sound (ghurghura) like the loud roaring of elephants.
