The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.48.28

नागास्त्रमाददे भीमं पाशबन्धनखेददम् ।
तेनाभवन्नभो व्याप्तं भोगिभिः पर्वतोपमैः ॥ २८ ॥

nāgāstramādade bhīmaṃ pāśabandhanakhedadam |
tenābhavannabho vyāptaṃ bhogibhiḥ parvatopamaiḥ || 28 ||

He flung his serpentine weapons upon them, which bound them as fast as a band all about their bodies, and encircled the battle ground and air, like snakes twining round the crags and rocks.
