The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.48.10

धारा वर्षमुच इव सीकरा इव निर्झरात् ।
तत्पुराग्निमहादाहात्स्फुलिङ्गा इव भासुराः ॥ १० ॥

dhārā varṣamuca iva sīkarā iva nirjharāt |
tatpurāgnimahādāhātsphuliṅgā iva bhāsurāḥ || 10 ||

They fell as showers of rainwater, and as the rush of water-falls;and as plentifully as the sparks of fire which flew from the burning city of Viduratha.
