The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

सिन्धोरपि तथैवासीच्छक्तिर्लाघवमेव च ।
वरेण वरदस्यैवं विष्णोर्धानुष्कता तयोः ॥ २ ॥

sindhorapi tathaivāsīcchaktirlāghavameva ca |
vareṇa varadasyaivaṃ viṣṇordhānuṣkatā tayoḥ || 2 ||

The twanging of his bow resounded in the air on all sides, and growled as loudly as the howling of winds in the caverns of mountains.
