The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.47.19

कीर्णमायुधमालाभिरुन्मत्तमिव भैरवम् ।
फुल्लाशोकवनाकारं शस्त्रसंघट्टवह्निभिः ॥ १९ ॥

kīrṇamāyudhamālābhirunmattamiva bhairavam |
phullāśokavanākāraṃ śastrasaṃghaṭṭavahnibhiḥ || 19 ||

The long lines of weapons formed as rows of bamboos and bushes of brambles, and their mutual clashing emitted sparks of fire like clusters of the red asoka flowers.
