The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.47.10

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
हत्वैनं वसुधापीठे जयी राज्यं करिष्यति ।
एवं देव्यां वदन्त्या तु बलयोर्युध्यमानयोः ॥ १० ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
hatvainaṃ vasudhāpīṭhe jayī rājyaṃ kariṣyati |
evaṃ devyāṃ vadantyā tu balayoryudhyamānayoḥ || 10 ||

Vasishtha said:—As the goddess was speaking in this manner, the sun appeared on his rising hill to behold the wondrous sight of the forces in fighting.
