The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तद्देशलीलोवाच ।
रणाद्देहं परित्यज्य यत्र तिष्ठति मे पतिः ।
अनेनैव शरीरेण तत्र स्यामेतदङ्गना ॥ ७ ॥

taddeśalīlovāca |
raṇāddehaṃ parityajya yatra tiṣṭhati me patiḥ |
anenaiva śarīreṇa tatra syāmetadaṅganā || 7 ||

The second lila said:—Ordain O goddess, that I may accompany my husband with this body of mine to whatever place he is destined to go, after his death in the war.
