The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अन्तःपुराधिपाः सर्वे पिष्टाः शत्रुभिरुद्धतैः ।
अशङ्किताभिपतितैर्वातैरिव वरद्रुमाः ॥ ७ ॥

antaḥpurādhipāḥ sarve piṣṭāḥ śatrubhiruddhataiḥ |
aśaṅkitābhipatitairvātairiva varadrumāḥ || 7 ||

The guards of the royal harem are all crushed to death by the haughty marauders, as the sturdy trees of the forest are broken down by the furious tornado.
