The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

देव देवी सहास्माभिः पलाय्यान्तःपुरान्तरात् ।
शरणं देवमायाता वातार्तेव लता द्रुमम् ॥ ४ ॥

deva devī sahāsmābhiḥ palāyyāntaḥpurāntarāt |
śaraṇaṃ devamāyātā vātārteva latā drumam || 4 ||

Then the king was informed by one of her companions about the fate of the warfare, which resembled the onset of demons upon the Apsara tribe.
