The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

हेतिप्रवाहा ज्वलनं नभस्यन्त्यां विशन्त्यहो ।
वडवानलमुज्वालमर्णःपूरा इवार्णवात् ॥ ३७ ॥

hetipravāhā jvalanaṃ nabhasyantyāṃ viśantyaho |
vaḍavānalamujvālamarṇaḥpūrā ivārṇavāt || 37 ||

The flashing spears and flaming fire, flaring above the watery ocean of the sky, resemble the submarine fire ascending to heaven.
