The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

हा मत्तमरुदूर्ध्वस्थानङ्गार गृहपादपान् ।
रणत्खरखरं नीरजालामातपपन्थिनः ॥ २९ ॥

hā mattamarudūrdhvasthānaṅgāra gṛhapādapān |
raṇatkharakharaṃ nīrajālāmātapapanthinaḥ || 29 ||

Oh! the high winds, that have blown the flames to the tops of our household trees, with their rustling sound (kharakhara) and hindered our taking shelter under their cooling umbrage.
