The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

देव्यौ दीर्घतपःक्लेशशतैर्दुष्प्रापदर्शने ।
इत्ययं वसुधाधीशो विदूरथ इति श्रुतः ॥ २२ ॥

devyau dīrghatapaḥkleśaśatairduṣprāpadarśane |
ityayaṃ vasudhādhīśo vidūratha iti śrutaḥ || 22 ||

O goddesses! whose presence is hard to be had, even by the merit of long devotion, and a hundred austerities, you see here the lord of the earth-famed Viduratha, present before you.
