The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.41.19

अमृतापूरितजनः क्षीरोदस्येव चन्द्रमाः ।
महद्भिः पुण्यसंभारैर्विदूरथ इति श्रुतः ॥ १९ ॥

amṛtāpūritajanaḥ kṣīrodasyeva candramāḥ |
mahadbhiḥ puṇyasaṃbhārairvidūratha iti śrutaḥ || 19 ||

He is renowned as Viduratha, and is born with the great virtues of his sire, as the moon was produced of the milky ocean, to shed his ambrosial beams over his people.
