The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.41.10

तयोरुक्त्वेति तत्याज पादयोः कुसुमाञ्जलिम् ।
तीरद्रुमो विकसितः पद्मिन्यो पद्मयोरिव ॥ १० ॥

tayoruktveti tatyāja pādayoḥ kusumāñjalim |
tīradrumo vikasitaḥ padminyo padmayoriva || 10 ||

Saying so he poured handfuls of flowers on their feet, as the trees on the bank of a lake, drop down their flowers on the lotuses growing in it.
