The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

आसनद्वयविश्रान्तं स ददर्शाप्सरोद्वयम् ।
मेरुशृङ्गद्वये चन्द्रबिम्बद्वयमिवोदितम् ॥ ५ ॥

āsanadvayaviśrāntaṃ sa dadarśāpsarodvayam |
meruśṛṅgadvaye candrabimbadvayamivoditam || 5 ||

He beheld upon his rising the forms of two fairies (apsaras), seated on two stools, and appearing as two moons risen on two pinnacles of the mount Meru.
