The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स्वभावाभावसंरम्भस्थूलसूक्ष्मचराचरम् ।
साव्ध्यद्व्युर्वीनदीशाहोरात्रिकल्पक्षणक्षयम् ॥ ४८ ॥

svabhāvābhāvasaṃrambhasthūlasūkṣmacarācaram |
sāvdhyadvyurvīnadīśāhorātrikalpakṣaṇakṣayam || 48 ||

He sees nothing but a sad change in the natures of things, and all that is movable or immovable, great or small, together with the seas, hills and rivers and peoples of this earth and the days and nights, are all subject to decay sooner or later.
