The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

वहद्रक्तनदीरंहोरूढभूचररूपिकम् ।
वेतालकुलकङ्कालकर्षणाकुलकाकलम् ॥ १८ ॥

vahadraktanadīraṃhorūḍhabhūcararūpikam |
vetālakulakaṅkālakarṣaṇākulakākalam || 18 ||

Bodies of Vetalas stood in the streams of blood like earthly beings, and snatched the skeletons with hideous cries.
