Verse 3.38.18

शवसन्ततिसंपूर्णं वहद्रक्तनदाकुलम् ।
परिकूजनझङ्कारपूर्णझिल्लिवनोपमम् ॥ १८ ॥

śavasantatisaṃpūrṇaṃ vahadraktanadākulam |
parikūjanajhaṅkārapūrṇajhillivanopamam || 18 ||

It was full of the dead bodies of men and beasts, and flowed in floods of purpling blood; it was resonant with the sounds of insects, like a heath with the humming of beetles.
