The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

विनिर्गन्तुं प्रववृते रणादथ बलद्वयम् ।
वारिपूरश्चतुर्दिक्षु प्रलयैकार्णवादिव ॥ १५ ॥

vinirgantuṃ pravavṛte raṇādatha baladvayam |
vāripūraścaturdikṣu pralayaikārṇavādiva || 15 ||

The two armies now went their own ways from the field of battle, as the arms of the sea run into the land in different directions.
