The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.38.13

शरादिहेतिसरितो विस्तीर्णे गगने स्थिते ।
प्रवृत्ताः सुखमागन्तुं सरसः सरितो यथा ॥ १३ ॥

śarādihetisarito vistīrṇe gagane sthite |
pravṛttāḥ sukhamāgantuṃ sarasaḥ sarito yathā || 13 ||

The flights of arrows and weapons, that had been raging as fire in the atmosphere, now began to fall in torrents, like the currents of the lake Mansaravara on the ground below.
