The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

करीन्द्रमकरव्यूहरंहःसंहतहेतयः ।
केशाकेशिकृतारम्भा विनेदुर्दाशकाः शकाः ॥ १७ ॥

karīndramakaravyūharaṃhaḥsaṃhatahetayaḥ |
keśākeśikṛtārambhā vinedurdāśakāḥ śakāḥ || 17 ||

The Sakas and Dasakas were fighting together, by holding down one another by the hair on their heads, as if the whales and elephants were struggling mutually from their respective elements.
