The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रृङ्खलाजालिनो जालैः श्रृङ्खलैरलिकोमलैः ।
क्षुभिताकल्पविक्षुब्धसागरोर्मिघटा इव ॥ १७ ॥

śrṛṅkhalājālino jālaiḥ śrṛṅkhalairalikomalaiḥ |
kṣubhitākalpavikṣubdhasāgarormighaṭā iva || 17 ||

Champions with chained armours set upon the soldiers attired in mail (srinkhala jala); and they poured upon the field as flights of locusts, or as the waves in the troubled sea.
