The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.35.11

कष्टटाङ्कारकोदण्डकुण्डलोन्मथनोद्भटः ।
अशङ्कमेव पातालादिवोद्यत्सैनिकोर्मिमान् ॥ ११ ॥

kaṣṭaṭāṅkārakodaṇḍakuṇḍalonmathanodbhaṭaḥ |
aśaṅkameva pātālādivodyatsainikormimān || 11 ||

The bold bowyer, bending his strong bow in the form of a curve, and leaping above the ground, resembled the spouting sea, rising from underneath the ground with his heaving waves on high.
