The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शरोत्कृत्तसितच्छत्रकलहंसैर्नभःस्थलम् ।
भाति संचितपूर्णेन्दुबिम्बलक्षैरिवावृतम् ॥ ३६ ॥

śarotkṛttasitacchatrakalahaṃsairnabhaḥsthalam |
bhāti saṃcitapūrṇendubimbalakṣairivāvṛtam || 36 ||

The milk-white rags of umbrellas, tattered and shattered by arrowy shafts, are flying as cranes in the crowded air, and appearing as the disk of the moon broken into a thousand pieces.
