The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.34.15

गीर्वाणगणगोष्ठीषु प्रवृत्ताः संकथा मिथः ।
कदा लोकान्तरं धीराः कथं यास्यन्ति के कुतः ॥ १५ ॥

gīrvāṇagaṇagoṣṭhīṣu pravṛttāḥ saṃkathā mithaḥ |
kadā lokāntaraṃ dhīrāḥ kathaṃ yāsyanti ke kutaḥ || 15 ||

The eloquent among the spectators were talking to one another, about the frailty of human life, and the uncertainty of the time of their meeting in the next world.
