The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

आलोलकुन्तमुसलासिपरश्वधांशुश्यामायमानदिवसातपवारिपूरैः ।
एकार्णवं भुवनकोशमिवाचिरेण कर्तुं समुद्यतमगाधमनन्तपूरैः ॥ २८ ॥

ālolakuntamusalāsiparaśvadhāṃśuśyāmāyamānadivasātapavāripūraiḥ |
ekārṇavaṃ bhuvanakośamivācireṇa kartuṃ samudyatamagādhamanantapūraiḥ || 28 ||

The day light was obscured by the sable cloud of swords, and the mallets and lances were raised up by the black Kunta warriors, who seemed bent upon converting the earth to an ocean of bloodshed.
