The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

पताकामञ्जरीपुञ्जविजिताकाशतारकम् ।
हास्तिकोत्तम्भितकरकाननीकृतखान्तरम् ॥ १९ ॥

patākāmañjarīpuñjavijitākāśatārakam |
hāstikottambhitakarakānanīkṛtakhāntaram || 19 ||

The glittering fringes of the flags, put the etherial stars to blush, and the lifted goads in the hands of the elephant-drivers, made a forest of tapering trees in the sky.
