The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

परस्परसुसंघट्टकटुटङ्कारकङ्कटम् ।
वीरयोधमुखादग्धभीरुप्रेप्सितकोटरम् ॥ १४ ॥

parasparasusaṃghaṭṭakaṭuṭaṅkārakaṅkaṭam |
vīrayodhamukhādagdhabhīruprepsitakoṭaram || 14 ||

The armours were clashing by mutual concussion, the countenances of the bravoes were burning with rage, and the faces of cowards were turned towards sheltered retreats for flight.
