The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.31.35

तेषामर्थे रणे व्योम्नि तिष्ठन्त्युत्कण्ठिताशयाः ।
शूरीभूतमहासत्त्वदयितोक्तिसुराङ्गनाः ॥ ३५ ॥

teṣāmarthe raṇe vyomni tiṣṭhantyutkaṇṭhitāśayāḥ |
śūrībhūtamahāsattvadayitoktisurāṅganāḥ || 35 ||

It was in expectation of seeing such heroes that the damsels of the gods, were standing in the air, and talking to themselves of becoming the spouses of such warriors.
