The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

प्रजोपद्रवनिष्ठस्य राज्ञोऽराज्ञोऽथ वा प्रभोः ।
अर्थेन ये मृता युद्धे ते वै निरयगामिनः ॥ ३० ॥

prajopadravaniṣṭhasya rājño'rājño'tha vā prabhoḥ |
arthena ye mṛtā yuddhe te vai nirayagāminaḥ || 30 ||

They that die fighting on the side of riotous subjects, or in the cause of rebellious princes or chiefs, are doomed to fire.
