The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.30.17

शुद्धबोधमये तस्मिन्परमालोकवारिधौ ।
अजस्रमेत्य गच्छन्ति ब्रह्मण्डाख्यास्तरङ्गकाः ॥ १७ ॥

śuddhabodhamaye tasminparamālokavāridhau |
ajasrametya gacchanti brahmaṇḍākhyāstaraṅgakāḥ || 17 ||

Such is the pure vacuous space of the Divine understanding, that like an ocean of light, contains these innumerable worlds, which like the countless waves of the sea, are revolving for ever in it.
