The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
पृथिव्यप्तेजसां तत्र नभस्वन्नभसोरपि ।
यथोत्तरं दशगुणानतीत्यावरणान्क्षणात् ॥ १ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
pṛthivyaptejasāṃ tatra nabhasvannabhasorapi |
yathottaraṃ daśaguṇānatītyāvaraṇānkṣaṇāt || 1 ||

They passed in a moment beyond the regions of the earth, air, fire, water, and vacuum, and the tracks of the ten planetary spheres.
