The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

इत उत्तरमन्या स्यात्पदवी का नु कीदृशी ।
कथं च मातरेतव्या कथ्यतामिति देवि मे ॥ ५१ ॥

ita uttaramanyā syātpadavī kā nu kīdṛśī |
kathaṃ ca mātaretavyā kathyatāmiti devi me || 51 ||
