The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

इयं पुष्कीरणीतीरद्रुमाऽऽग्रन्थिततर्णका ।
इयं सा कर्णिकानाम्नी तर्णिका मुक्तपर्णिका ॥ १८ ॥

iyaṃ sā karṇikānāmnī tarṇikā muktaparṇikā || 18 ||
This is the bank of the pond where the calves were loosely tied to the trees; and this is my pet calf Karnika, which has refrained from browzing the leaves.
