The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.26.52

यथाभावितमेतेषां पदार्थानामतो वपुः ।
अभ्यासजनितं भाति नास्त्येकं परमार्थतः ॥ ५२ ॥

yathābhāvitameteṣāṃ padārthānāmato vapuḥ |
abhyāsajanitaṃ bhāti nāstyekaṃ paramārthataḥ || 52 ||

In this manner every one is of the form of whatever he thinks himself to be; and it is habit only that makes him to believe himself as such, though he is not so in reality.
