The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

सर्वास्तत्यजतुश्चिन्ताः संकोचं समुपागते ।
दिवसान्त इवाब्जिन्यौ प्रसृतामोदलेखिके ॥ ५ ॥

sarvāstatyajatuścintāḥ saṃkocaṃ samupāgate |
divasānta ivābjinyau prasṛtāmodalekhike || 5 ||

They shook off all their thoughts and cares, and became as contracted as the faded blossoms of the lotus at the decline of the day, when their fragrance has fled from them.
