The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स्वप्नसंकल्पदेहान्ते देहोऽयं चेत्यते यथा ।
तथा जाग्रद्भावनान्ते उदेत्येवातिवाहिकः ॥ ३ ॥

svapnasaṃkalpadehānte deho'yaṃ cetyate yathā |
tathā jāgradbhāvanānte udetyevātivāhikaḥ || 3 ||

As our corporeal bodies are awakened after the states of our dreaming and desiring, so is our spiritual body awakened after we cease to think of our corporeal states.
