The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.21.33

हेम्न्यूर्मिकारूपधरेऽप्यूर्मिकात्वं न विद्यते ।
यथा तथा जगद्रूपे जगन्नास्ति च ब्रह्मणि ॥ ३३ ॥

hemnyūrmikārūpadhare'pyūrmikātvaṃ na vidyate |
yathā tathā jagadrūpe jagannāsti ca brahmaṇi || 33 ||

Gold though fashioned as a circlet, has no circularity in it; so the spirit of God appearing in the form of the world, is not the world itself.
