The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.20.38

सर्वगैकतया यस्मात्सा स्वप्ने दृष्टदर्शना ।
यथा स्वप्ने तथोदेति परलोकदृगादिभिः ॥ ३८ ॥

sarvagaikatayā yasmātsā svapne dṛṣṭadarśanā |
yathā svapne tathodeti paralokadṛgādibhiḥ || 38 ||

As the view beheld in a dream, presents the sights of all things in one place, so does every thing appear to the eye of the beholder of the other world as in his dream.
